The RDS L5P 66mm turbo is an excellent upgrade for your 2017 – 2023 GM L5P Duramax Diesel truck. It is built and balanced in house with multiple RDS exclusive components, resulting in an efficiently powerful drop-in turbo. To address the core issue associated with the small factory size turbine wheel, which causes high boost-to-drive pressure when paired with a larger than factory size compressor wheel, we developed a RDS exclusive nozzle vane cage that allows us to increase exhaust flow, as well as the turbine wheel size for better EGT and boost-to-drive pressure control.
