MotorOps HP Tuners 2024-2025 Duramax L5P Single Tune

This product is for vehicle owners and shops that already have the required hardware for tuning the L5P Duramax. Please be sure you have access to the following or purchase it below:

• Unlocked OEM E42 ECM from your vehicle (or purchase unlock from us and ship it to HP Tuners)

Race / Max Effort Tune

• Maxes out the factory Turbo
• + 140 RWHP, + 260 ft-lbs torque over factory

Sport Tune

• Designed for Unloaded Daily Driving
• +100 RWHP, + 200 ft-lbs of torque over factory

Light Tow

• Designed for Towing up to 8,000 lbs and daily driving
• Sporty and SAFE tune to run
• EGTs will remain at or below factory EGT levels
• +80 RWHP, + 190 ft-lbs of torque over factroy

Heavy Tow

• Designed for towing any size load up to gross vehicle weight rating
• Nice wide torque curve to ensure that you improve your towing experience
• Completely fine to drive unloaded as well
• Delivers EGTs that are at or below factory calibration
• +40 RWHP, +100 ft-lbs of torque over factory

Optimized Stock

• Refined factory calibration
• Removes pedal lag
• Improves the factory power to ensure vehicle operates smoothly
• +15 RWHP over factory calibration

Required for Tuning the L5P ECM:

1. HP Tuners RTD4 - this is used for programming the ECM along with the TDN App.  
2. HP Tuners Universal Credits - 8 Universal Credits are required for programming the ECM.
3. Unlocked E42 ECM - HP Tuners is the first to release tuning on the E42 ECM (2024 and 2025 L5P Duramax). In order to load modified tunes into your vehicle you will need to send your ECM to HP Tuners to have it unlocked. It must be your original ECM and not a core ECM for it to work properly. 

FAQs:

Question: How long will it take to get my ECM back?

Answer: HP Tuner's processing time for ECMs will vary based on the volume of ECMs they have come in for unlock. They are currently processing Unlocked ECMs at a 5 business day turnaround. This does not include the transit time to HP Tuners and from HP Tuners to your location. 

Question: Is there any SOTF for 2024 or 2025 L5P Duramax yet?

Answer: No, there is not currently any SOTF custom operating system for the 2024 or 2025 L5P Duramax. 

Question: If SOTF becomes available for the 2024 and 2025 L5P Duramax will I be able to update at a reduced cost?

Answer: Yes, there will be an upgrade product so you will not be paying a large fee to upgrade to SOTF if it becomes available in the future.
